To celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Queen’s accession to the throne, we are joining with the Jubilee celebrations.
Our “70 Glorious Years” Flower Festival will take place over the weekend of 17th – 19th June (so you’ll have time to recover from that street party!)
It starts with a “Preview Evening” with drinks and nibbles on Friday from 7.00pm.
If you want to come, you need to ask for a ticket using the form below. Tickets are free and available to all, but numbers are limited – so please don’t just turn up!
On Saturday, doors will be open from 10.00am till 6.00pm.
Entry is free – and you need no ticket!
Refreshments (teas and coffees – with some of Sue’s fantastic cakes) from 10.30 – 4.00
On Sunday, doors open at 11.30am after a short service of Morning Prayer at 11.00.
Refreshments (in the Parish Rooms) from 12.00 – 4.00
The Festival displays will be dismantled at 4.00 and they will then be auctioned. Bunches and bunches of beautiful flowers will be available.
There will be opportunity for you to donate towards this – with cash, card or phone. All money raised will help us to open up the building for the whole community to use. We hope that friends will see the small improvements we have already made; we need to go much further, installing a water supply, updating the elderly lighting and heating – as well as tackling the enormous task of re-slating the roof.
If you can help – come to the Flower Festival! Even if you can’t, you can still give a little by visiting our campaign website
If you want a ticket for the Preview Evening, please fill in this form. There’s no charge!
