How to find us

St Andrew’s Church, Kildwick is an iconic building, set above the River Aire – and clearly visible from the Aire Valley Trunk Road between Keighley and Skipton.

These instructions are specific for those attending the Institution of the Revd Mike Green as the vicar of Kildwick, Cononley and Bradley.

From the roundabout on the A629, roughly 4 miles from both Skipton and Keighley, take the unclassified road north (signposted “Kildwick, Farnhill”) to travel over the bridge (built in 1303 and still going strong!)

There is a small church car park – but this will be reserved for dignitaries, a few local residents and some church staff on July 16th.
There is some very limited street parking (turn left or right at the top by the (excellent) White Lion pub but don’t follow the road up to the church.  There’s nowhere there for you!

We have arranged parking near the bridge, courtesy of Dave Kidd, of White Lion Farm.  It is not a long walk up to church from there.  This is field parking; if it is very wet, this may not be available.  Note the signs that will be in place; turn right, just after the bridge and before you reach the 20mph restriction signs.

Please don’t park in the pub car park.  They are busy on a Saturday afternoon and they use all of their space.

If you need a parking space for a disabled person, please contact us as soon as possible.  We will issue you with a pass for the church car park.

For the electronically connected;  The postcode BD20 9BB should work for the church.  The main south door is at

There are no “facilities” in church.  If you need the loo on arrival, please visit the Parish Rooms, just outside the gates to the west of the church.

We look forward to seeing you!
