Maintaining any church building is a constant headache!
The small congregation of St John’s United Church (where Methodists and Anglicans worship together) is responsible for the maintenance of a 160 year-old building – but there is no Magic Money Tree to help us.
- The priority for the Church of England is (quite rightly) people and not buildings.
- There are no Government coffers, brimming with money.
The maintenance of St John’s depends on those who value it!
